We have come up with the Twin Bed for the American Girl sized doll! And now we have added a pink bed with pink and brown bedding that is just as cute as it is sophisticated! Any feedback would be appreciated!
This iron headboard was in a pile of junk behind an old barn. It is really old and in pretty bad shape but it is exactly what I have been looking for! Never mind the fact that someone did their best to destroy this beautiful iron (and I mean iron... this looks light and whimpy! Trust me, it is not. It is solid iron and very heavy) headboard. Why someone would take this and weld on a set of hinges, add barbed wire for good measure and use it as a gate is just beyond me. But they did and it is my job to return it to... well maybe not original shape, but one that is usable. Ok, I know what you are probably thinking. "What is SHE thinking!" I know, it is in really bad shape. But look at the bones... I don't know how old this headboard is but... it is really old. We are going to use it in the new guest bath room. I know... putting a bed in a bathroom?? It is a really big bathroom. And since the only other bedroom in the house is ours, we need a place for a guest to sleep besides an airbed on the floor.
